Faxing technology is designed to send documents, not images. If you take a picture of a document with your phone it then becomes an image file. That won’t process through a fax server and you will get a failure message. You would need to have the document file, Word, Excel or a PDF file on your phone.
Luckily, there are some PDF Maker apps that you can download to your phone. Just convert the image file to a PDF file and then you can easily fax it.
Of course, you will also need an internet fax program to properly send a fax.
