In the world of faxing, there is no real spam filter. Once your number is on a fax spam list it can be sold on the dark web to endless new spammers.
Here's the laws and regulations from the FCC
Wikipedia has a good page about unsolicited faxes and the attempts to deal with it. It's a long read with no real solutions.
Another site discussing the issue is junkfax.org where you can hire an attorney...
For a large company, with a very high volume of spammy faxes, your local phone carrier can set up a 'Call Trap' on your line to find an individual sender. However, this is both expensive and time consuming.
When you receive a fax from FAXtopia, the Subject line reads:
‘You have received a fax from 555-555-5555’
Within your e-mail client, set a Rule that any email that contains 555-555-5555 is automatically sent to the trash / deleted folder. You will never again see them in your inbox.
However, be super careful not to create a rule against FAXtopia. If you do, all your faxes will get deleted. Just block the fax number from that particular spam fax.
If you need help with your specific e-mail system, just ask your system administrator to show you how to do this simple process.

Transfer Your Existing Number
Aother (not ideal) solution would be to get a new fax number. The clean way to do this process is to keep the old fax # active, and then also get a new number from FAXtopia. Over time, as your website and marketing materials are updated with the new number, you can eventually delete the old number. The old spam will end.
